Riserva Yarra Valley Sangiovese

Stefani Estate Riserva Yarra Valley Sangiovese is a single site wine drawn from The Gate Vineyard, located at the entrance to Stefani Estate's Yarra Valley property.

The Sangiovese vines originated as cuttings taken from the Stefani family's original Boccallupo Vineyard in Tuscany. Select parcels of fruit are handpicked.

After an open fermentation, the wine spends extended time on skins to meld the flavours and tannins. It is then aged in large format new oak for up to 18 months to deliver structure to the wine.

In some years, a small percentage of Cabernet is included in the final blend.

Brick red, Stefani Estate Riserva Yarra Valley Sangiovese has rich, dark forest fruit flavours and savoury structure. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
